Two Danish teenage ambassadors and ten to twelve German teens will lead a Kitchen Table discussion on the topic Childhood, Family and Gender on Sat, 8 Feb, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Theater Mummpitz during the festival Panoptikum

The Kitchen Table is a reflection tool able to engage teenagers, artistic directors, artists, playwriters and teachers in a unique and innovative way that stimulates dialogue between theatre professionals and teenagers. Empowers teens to reflect on how and why they use culture and gives theatre professionals and programmers an insight in the perceptions of a teen audience.

This format is a part of the Theatre European Engagement Network (T.E.E.N.), a Creative Europe research project that aims to engage teenagers in theatre and create a European Network, that discusses and disseminates the newest research and best practice within performing arts for young audiences.
