April 4th
19:00 > Welcome dinner 📍Kolding Bibliotek
A cosy welcome dinner for the teens to meet each other in a safe setting before the festival begins.
April 5th
11:30 > BABEL Presentation 📍Nicolai for Børn
The teens get an exclusive invitation to attend the presentation of the work of the BABEL project. For two weeks theatre professionals from all over Europe work together, learn from one another and exchange cultural experiences, ending with a presentation of their collective work.
13:30 > TEEN Kitchen Table 📍Sct Michaels Gade 4
The teens and local theatre unions will come together for a TEEN Kitchen Table. They will watch the show Going Nowhere by Out of Balanz, afterwards a teen will facilitate a reflective conversation about the play. Later the conversation will move on to the dreams and hopes of both the teens and the theatre unions on how to collaborate to bring more YA theatre to the local communities in Denmark.
19:00 > Suppe & Snak (a TEEN Kitchen Table) 📍Kolding Bibliotek
For the second TEEN Kitchen Table of KLAP festival, the teens will meet students from various Danish educations of acting and theatre production. The room will be facilitated by a youth theatre group. Here is an oppurtunity for the teens to learn more about the theatre educations of Denmark and share experiences and dreams.
April 6th
10:30 > Guided tour 📍Kolding Bibliotek
1-2 teens will be paired up with an international theatre professional to watch two shows, discuss them over lunch and spend the day together. In pairs/small groups the teens and adults will have a change to connect and talk deeper about their work, the shows they watch, the festival or whereever the conversation brings them.
