🇪🇸 NATIONAL TAG ACTIVITY – Shared Vision: MAÑA

“MAÑA is the transmission of knowledge from a grandfather to a grandson, through my gaze providing a mutation from Craftsman to artist.

Show-installation, which revolves around ingenuity, a universal, timeless and transversal attribute, from an artistic and artisanal perspective. I show the process of building a giant arch of very heavy boxes using as premise the economy of effort and movement, using an ancestral technology, but full of validity: the lever, the pulley, the wheel,… Choreographing an everyday action such as the setting of a set becomes the show itself, where craftsmanship plays an essential role, becoming the main protagonist, fleeing from intelligent materials and tools so as not to limit my effectiveness as an artisan, halfway between knowledge and intuition.
