Hello! I am Dariia, and I believe that theater is the best space for live action and real change. My life is a combination of logic and creativity: I study business economics and applied mathematics at two universities at the same time. This experience has taught me to structure chaos, but it is in theater that I seek that “community of action” that is often lacking in numbers and algorithms.
I am actively involved in volunteering, project management, and I adore international initiatives, including Erasmus+. In ForesTEEN, I am attracted by the opportunity to create new meanings together with people from all over Europe. For me, it is not just about the stage, but about developing creative thinking and teamwork skills. I am here to go beyond the usual patterns, exchange experiences, and find like-minded people for joint cultural adventures. Open to new challenges and sincere communication!

The soil / the need

I was looking for a space for live action and shared experience. There’s a lot of theory and numbers in education, so I was missing a place where ideas aren’t just discussed, but are made into reality, where there’s a community where you feel like anything is possible.

Tell us about that first spark

YEEES, I remember, it was a moment in the 3rd lesson, then to develop our perspective and the ability to quickly come up with ideas, we played the game “Hiking” where we had to come up with a specific justification for things, it really brought us closer and gave me such a big spark.

Roots (people & experiences that shaped your path)

Definitely people, because they really inspired me to move on, they started my social activities, they showed me another side of life.

The trunk (what keeps you in theatre)

A desire for emotional release, because life was stressful for me at that time, theater gave me the opportunity to relax.

Branches (future / desire)

I see theatre as a tool for communication and social change. In the coming years, I hope that it will give me the opportunity to go beyond the usual patterns, to learn to better feel the audience and work in international teams. For me, it isn’t about a career as an actor, but about developing creative thinking and the ability to create shared meanings together with people from all over Europe.

If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be? Why?

I would be a birch.
It is flexible, quickly adapts to new conditions and always stands out with its light bark. For me, it is a symbol of resilience without excessive heaviness – the ability to remain yourself, even when the wind changes direction.
