Hi! My name is Veronika, I’m 16 years old, and I’m from Tampere, Finland. I love theatre, media, and creative projects — from making videos and editing photos to designing posters and learning typography. I enjoy working with others, sharing ideas, and finding new ways to tell stories. I’m passionate about connecting with people from different countries and cultures, and I’m always curious to learn, try new things, and be inspired. Theatre and creative arts are where I feel most alive and expressive.

My first connection to theatre came through a friend and through the need to express myself and be part of something creative.

Tell us about that first spark

The first moment theatre became important for me was during a school project where we had to create a short performance. I felt excited and nervous, and I realized I could tell a story not only with words but with my voice, body, and expression. I loved how everyone’s ideas came together into something bigger. That experience showed me theatre as a space of creativity, connection, and emotion.

Roots (people & experiences that shaped your path)

My teachers and classmates inspired me to try new things and express myself freely. School projects, creative workshops, and collaborative performances helped me explore stories and emotions. Even small moments — like first performances or helping others develop ideas — taught me confidence, teamwork, and the joy of creating together.

The trunk (what keeps you in theatre)

What keeps me connected is the freedom to express myself and explore new ideas. I love creating something together, discovering emotions, and sharing stories. Theatre helps me grow, build confidence, and connect with people in meaningful ways.

Branches (future / desire)

I hope theatre continues to be a space for creativity and learning. I imagine using theatre to inspire and connect with others, perhaps through projects involving young people or communities. I want it to help me build skills, express ideas, and create shared experiences that make people think and feel.

A birch tree — strong but flexible, fast-growing yet graceful, able to thrive in many environments. I want to keep learning, growing into new experiences, and supporting people around me while staying true to myself.
