My name is Yulia, I’m 15 years old, I very like reading and playing in theatre

The soil / the need

My first time in theatre was any month ago but it was perfect so now I don’t want to live without theatre. It wasn’t anything special when I went there first time I just wanted to see how actors play because I also had a little experience in this way, but after everything I saw that day I understand that I like theatre so much

Tell us about that first spark

I think it was important for me all my life. Firstly because it was a memory of my country’s history and culture, but then it became something different, it was my own experience in the theatre.

Roots (people & experiences that shaped your path)

My family because everyone in my family love theatre as me, and also it’s my first performance that I have watched.

The trunk (what keeps you in theatre)

People. After everything I performance I see people who think differently after it and I understand that I can help them when I would just continue doing what I do.

Branches (future / desire)

I think it would be as much important for me as now, and in my opinion it would give me more energy and inspiration to do things I want and should do.

Are you currently involved in cultural activities?

Yes, sometimes

If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be? Why?

I would be a European beech because it one of the most common trees in my village so I think this tree would describe me the best.
