Willow of Movement and Reflection

I am a creative and reflective person who enjoys exploring emotions, movement, and stories. I draw, read classical literature, and practice aerial gymnastics and pole sport, which have taught me discipline, focus, and persistence. I am also preparing for school sports competitions, so physical activity plays an important role in my life. I value honesty, sensitivity, and meaningful communication, and I enjoy creative environments where people can express themselves freely and grow together.

The soil / the need

When I first got closer to theatre, I was looking for a way to express emotions I couldn’t fully explain with words. I needed a space where feelings, movement, silence, and imagination were allowed. It was also curiosity — I wanted to understand myself and others better through stories and characters.

The first seed

Social media / online content.

Tell us about that first spark

I remember watching a performance and feeling deeply moved, even without fully understanding everything rationally. It made me realize that theatre can speak directly to emotions and inner experience. That moment stayed with me and made me want to explore theatre not only as a spectator, but as a living form of expression.

Roots (people & experiences that shaped your path)

My path has been shaped by different creative experiences, school activities, performances I have watched, and people who value art and self-expression. Reading classical literature also influenced how I perceive characters, emotions, and human conflicts, which naturally connected me to theatre.

The trunk (what keeps you in theatre)

What keeps me connected is theatre’s honesty. It allows vulnerability, movement, and emotion to exist together. It creates space for reflection and connection, and it keeps changing — just like people do.

Branches (future / desire)

In the future, I imagine theatre as a space for growth, exploration, and dialogue. I hope it will help me develop confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of people. I want it to remain a place where I can learn, experiment, and connect with others across cultures.

If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be? Why?

A willow tree — flexible, sensitive, and strong at the same time. It bends with the wind instead of breaking, and reflects emotional depth and resilience.
