Visiting Overview
The Serbian TAG group and the German TAG group participated in a visiting of the Festival of ASSITEJ Serbia (FAS), a national festival presenting performances for children and young people – for all ages, in all forms of performing arts – open to all members of ASSITEJ Serbia who are willing to participate.
The visiting followed the official festival agenda from Monday 3 November to Friday 7 November, including travel from Belgrade to Zrenjanin, festival attendance, workshops, seminars, guided city walks, shared meals, and post-show discussions moderated by Danilo Brakočević with members of the FAS festival juries.
Programme Highlights
Monday, 3 November – Arrival, Welcome & Opening
- Organized van transport from Belgrade to Zrenjanin and check-in
- Welcome by the host and festival director (National Theatre Toša Jovanović)
- Festival opening & performance: “Andrackz, Yeppurz and other important monsters of Petrovgrad and The Middle Banat” (65 min, 7+)
- Getting to know session (Part 1)
- Guided city walking tour led by young people from Zrenjanin
- Evening performance: “The Outlaws” (90 min, 12+)
- Post-show discussion with FAS jury members (moderator: Danilo Brakočević)
Tuesday, 4 November – Workshops & Performances
- Morning routine workshop: movement, bodily joy and breathing (Jovana Rakić)
- Workshop: “In My Eyes” – Part 1
- Performance: “Overjoyed Kafina” (45 min, 7+)
- Workshop: “In My Eyes” – Part 2: A Remembrance Book for Tomorrow
- Evening performance: “In the Ceilings the Stars Are Shining” (75 min, 15+)
- Post-show discussion with FAS jury members (moderator: Danilo Brakočević)
Wednesday, 5 November – Teen Kitchen Table & Evening Performances
- Morning concentration workshop introducing the joint programme “Teen Kitchen Table”
- Teen Kitchen Table: teens discuss the performances seen at the 7th FAS Festival
- Guided city walk (second group) led by young people from Zrenjanin
- Evening performance: “The Three Musketeers” (80 min, 10+)
- Evening performance: “The Diary of Anne Frank” (55 min, 6+)
Thursday, 6 November – Seminar, Workshop & Performance
- Morning routine workshop: movement, bodily joy and breathing (Željka Jakovljević)
- Seminar: brief introduction to dance theatre and inclusion in theatre for/with the youngest (Željka Jakovljević)
- Performance: “When we got Lost” (80 min, 10+)
- Workshop: “Hear Me Out” (registration required; limited capacity)
- Evening performance: “When Pumpkins Blossomed” (90 min, 15+)
- Post-show discussion with FAS jury members (moderator: Danilo Brakočević)
Friday, 7 November – Informal Sharing & Closing
Closing performance: “Misa Pupin Idvorski” (60 min, 5+)
Morning informal gathering at FAS
