KLAP Festival – Press Conference
This recording presents the KLAP Festival – Theatre for Young Audiences, introduced by Naja from Theatrecentrum during a FORESTEEN management meeting held on Zoom.
Naja outlined the festival’s structure, organisational logic, and the role of the FORESTEEN programme within it. KLAP is a touring festival for young audiences in Denmark, bringing together around 100 professional companies and more than 150 performances. Rather than operating as a traditionally curated festival, KLAP functions as a platform where companies participate through the Danish reimbursement system.
Within KLAP, the FORESTEEN programme includes performances, audience pathways, a co-programming workshop, a teen kitchen table, networking moments, and follow-up sessions.
