Project description
Bench Invasion is a performative experience where teenagers carry benches through the city, inviting people to pause and share a moment of connection. Each encounter culminates in a communal gathering where benches form a long table for music, toasts, and reflection. The project encourages teens to develop responsibility, communication, and assertiveness while exploring the power of presence and intergenerational interaction. By creating these shared moments, the project fosters openness, empathy, and social cohesion.
