TEEN Kitchen Table Format

The ‘TEEN Kitchen Table’ will see Teenagers, Programme Managers, and Creative Professionals & Artists come together around a food-laden ‘Kitchen Table’ to debate what it means for Teenage audiences to “Confront the Unknown” when they attend the Theatre. A diverse group of Teenagers coming from across Europe will moderate and lead a discussion that explores the unknown plots that may unfold, the unknown artistic tastes that may develop, and the unknown futures that may emerge. This event is presented as part of Teenage Ambassadors Across Europe, a project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union that aims to establish best practice audience development strategies in order to meaningfully engage with Teenage audiences.

Co-Programming Workshop

This workshop presents a work-in-progress methodology that aims to establish consensus between Teenagers, Programmers, and Schoolteachers in order to co-programme performances and festivals for Teenage audiences. Being made open to public delegates for the very first time, this workshop is presented as part of the Teenage Ambassadors Across Europe, a project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union that aims to establish best practice audience development strategies in order to meaningfully engage with Teenage audiences. Please note that it is suggested (though certainly not a requirement) that attendees may like to watch the midday performance of “About Shadows” on Tuesday 3rd September that this workshop will be focused on.
