Teen role in the project

• Co-create theater programs and plays at Junges Theater Münster

Peculiarity

The project empowers young people to move beyond the role of spectators and actively shape the theater experience. Teens are involved in multiple stages of artistic creation, offering their perspective and expertise while exploring theater production in a safe, collaborative environment.

Project description

“Sei am Start!” is a participatory community of 70 young people aged 12–20 who engage in the creation and curation of theater experiences. Participants co-design plays, contribute to festival programming, and provide feedback on performances, learning the processes of artistic planning and production. By integrating teens as active collaborators, the project fosters creativity, critical thinking, and leadership, ensuring that theater is made not just for young audiences, but with them.
