Teenage Ambassadors Across Europe at Momix Festival
The New Partners Meet and Present Their Project
Join us at Momix Festival for a presentation about the TEEN Project being held on 3rd February between 9am and 10:30am at Les Sheds (2A Rue d’Illzach).
After the experience of the first TEEN project, the new Teenage Ambassadors Across Europe European cooperation project aims to develop a sustainable, inclusive audience engagement methodology. Over the next two years, the six partners will host numerous Co-Programming Workshops and ‘TEEN Kitchen Table Meetings’ across eleven festivals.
The Co-Programming Workshop structure is an experimental methodology that will be developed during the project with the aim of generating discussion and consensus between Teenagers, Creative Professionals & Artists, and Teachers when deciding what productions to programme for Teenage audiences.
The stakeholders involved in this work are:
- Teenage audience members with an active involvement in the Theatre experience,
- Programmers from the Performing Arts field and,
- A group of engaged Teachers to facilitate reflections on the school system and the role it plays in guiding the teenagers’ cultural experiences.
The TEEN Kitchen Table Meeting format, developed during the original TEEN project, will see Teenagers facilitating a discussion and sharing their ideas and points of view about Theatre. It allows Teenagers, Artistic Directors, Artists, Playwrights, and Teachers to engage together in a unique and innovative way that stimulates a dialogue.
Teenage Ambassadors Across Europe is funded by Creative Europe. The project partners are Segni d’infanzia (Italy), Teatercentrum inDenmark, Norsk Scenekunstbruk (Norway), Cultuurcentrum Hasselt (Belgium), “la Caixa” Foundation (Spain), and Dialogue – The Community Performance Network (United Kingdom).
