Project description
The Good Life with the Climate is a two-year initiative by Agora Köln, a civic network dedicated to sustainability and participation. The project creates connections between children and young people, educators, scientists, cultural practitioners, and policymakers. Its core elements are two participatory conference formats:
Children and Youth Conference, where young participants explore the role of climate in their lives, share visions, and are encouraged toward action.
Specialist Conference, which brings together professionals and integrates the outcomes of the youth conference into research, cultural, and policy discussions.
The project also strengthens networks: expanding Agora Köln’s reach to include children and youth work while linking to wider stakeholders across North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). In this way, the initiative promotes empowerment, inclusion, and knowledge exchange while giving children and young people an active role in shaping future climate action.
