Peculiarity

A research-action project designed to give young people real agency in shaping cultural and artistic experiences. Teens actively contribute to democratic spaces of expression, while adults learn to support and legitimize their voices.

Project description

Tonight, the teens are taking over invites children and adolescents to guide their own learning and cultural experiences, both in school and after-school contexts. Through facilitated workshops and exchanges, participants present their aspirations to adults, who integrate these choices into educational and cultural programs. The project combines action-research with tools for educators, fostering democratic participation, respect for cultural rights, and intergenerational collaboration. By June 2026, the project aims to result in a teen-led artistic creation or cultural event, supported by Le Labo des Cultures.
