Peculiarity

Youth Lens is fully co-curated by teenagers, giving them an active role in shaping the exhibitions and amplifying their voices on social and cultural matters.


Project description

Youth Lens is a photography and filmmaking project that empowers teens to present their perspectives on community, social justice, and identity. Participants co-create exhibitions with adult mentors, engaging in every stage from theme development to exhibition design. The project nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and leadership, while promoting intergenerational collaboration and community engagement. It aims to inspire empathy, elevate teen voices, and create meaningful youth-driven cultural experiences.
